~ Welcome to Families and Love ~

Welcome people, I hope your experience will be a pleasant and helpful one while vising my page. My intention is only to pass on what I have learned through the years, I hope that in some way you will be helped in your own lives. The things I write about are the things I am passionate about in my life, being the best I can be is important. I feel compelled to pass on what I have learned. Make use of what helps and leave the rest behind.

Please note that the photos I use are from my own collection, most small inserts in the body of the composition are not.

♥ Warmed Heart ♥

Keep your heart open for as long as you can, as wide as you can, for others and especially for yourself.

Knowing

Seeing pictures
Seeing her on TV

Knowing I had a relative who had been adopted 40 years ago, but never having met her was something that may not have always been on my mind, however, it was always in my heart. I never knew where this person was, or even if she was still alive, however, about 12 years ago she was found!

Seeing pictures of her was an amazing feeling. Seeing how she looked like her mother and just how beautiful she was, gave me a feeling of joy and a sense of relief that she was still alive and well. But I still haven’t met her in person.

Seeing her on TV was another thing all together. Seeing her walking, hearing her voice, seeing her face, her mannerisms and seeing the family resemblance was nothing short of a “gift”. I still try to imagine what it would be like to meet her one day, I hope I do.
